They Were Barking in the Park for the PawSox Win!
Greetings PawSox Fans!
Although some still needed a jacket today at McCoy Stadium, there was no rain in sight and the PawSox went on to beat the Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs 6-4 for their second win in a row……A winning streak could be starting early in the season!
Today was also the Full Season Ticket Holders BBQ and they enjoyed a tasty feast and they’re all predicting a winning season for the PawSox! There were long time season ticket holders…
There were some relatively new season ticket holders like the baseball loving Lantz Family…
We offer a very special Thank You to all the PawSox Season Ticket Holders. They arrived early and enjoyed watching batting practice and indulging in pulled pork, hot dogs, grilled chicken and much more. Other families arrived early to the Main Gate and the future young All-Stars played catch with Paws..
They youngsters also testing their hitting skills with the inflatable batting area and they could also test their throwing accuracy with another. There was music from Joe Silva on the stage, and everyday at a PawSox game is like a block party!
Taking your picture with Paws or Sox will be a memory that last forever.
However, today was not only to be enjoyed by the human fans, it was also the PawSox Bark in the Park day and fans showed up at the game with Man’s and Woman’s best friends. Fans were allowed to head to the Red Tent with their pooches and receive info on the health of your dog, how to keep your dog safely in your yard with the electric fence and PetSmart was there dishing out a truck-load free stuff for every pooch.
Mike had his crew there helping every dog owner…
They had some temp baseball tattoos the dogs loved!
There were little dogs…
There were dogs who looked like a small pony…
Fun Enterprises was there as always taking Free Dog Photos…A.C. Is always where the Fun is!
This cute little lady wore a doggie Paw Sox hat.
There was a Pre-Game Dog Parade around the entire warning track…………..Almost 400 dogs took part in the parade.
This little pooch was just loving life.
After the parade the furry friends enjoyed watching the game, seeing themselves on the Jumbo-Videoboard and listening to the music.
The dogs and their owners had a fantastic time and are looking to return soon. Tomorrow may be the best day of the new year with sun and warm temps. The PawSox continue the series against the Iron Pigs tomorrow at 1:05 and the gates open at 11:30. Tomorrow like every Sunday is the post-game run the bases. After the game, and hopefully another win, its time to take to the field and run the bases! The youngsters really enjoy the feeling of running on a professional baseball diamond.
