PawSox vs. The Bulls Game One!
Greetings PawSox Fans!
This is what every baseball fans wait for! Playing for the Championship. The defending champs Pawtucket Red Sox take on the hard charging Durham Bulls at 7:05 this evening. The game will be broadcast on 920 AM WHJJ so make sure to listen to the voice of the PawSox, radio broadcaster Jeff “Levo” Levering. Levo is very knowledgable about the game and always makes listening enjoyable and informative with his plethora of baseball smarts.
The sun is shining bright and its about 82 degrees. My driving partner Lou and I left McCoy Stadium yesterday in the early afternoon. The drive is just about 13 hours so we had a very good amount of a cushion for the trip. No stress about making it under the wire. We did hit some very heavy traffic along the way, of course in New York and again a few times in Baltimore. Oher than that, no problems, no issues. We could actually stop for a late dinner.
The first game is very important and could set the tone for the series. The PawSox want to keep The Cup and will try their best to defend it. If it was up to me I’d play every game at McCoy. A lot of PawSox fans are generations of families that have been attending games for years. Its an exciting times. Other players from other teams in Triple A baseball packed up and went on their way at the end of the season. It’s very, very fortunate that the PawSox have an opportunity to defend The Cup. The first two games are here in Durham, and the PawSox return home to play on Friday the 13th, could be a lucky day for the PawSox. Make sure you get tickets and cheer on the PawSox to keep The Cup.
As soon as this is posted, we’ll be heading to Durham Park Athletic Park for the game.
Just like every other time we arrive in Durham, Aaron The Bull is waiting to unload the Penske. A former football player, The Bull has at it and in no time he and his helper have the truck unloaded. Well Done Bull!
All the equipment, uniforms and gear are brought into the clubhouse to be placed in every players locker to be ready when they arrive for the first of the Governors’ Cup Championship games.
Be certain to listen to every game, and more importantly, get your tickets right now for Friday the 13th, it could be your very lucky day! We will be there, so join us and see that we are all…………”Here For You!”
Love hearing from you!
Yours in Baseball,
